The NH-L9i-17xx chromax.black is an all-black version of Noctua’s award-winning NH-L9i-17xx low-profile CPU cooler for Intel LGA1700 or LGA1851 based HTPCs and Small Form Factor (SFF) systems. Thanks to the same proven heatsink design and NF-A9x14 PWM chromax.black fan, it stays true to the NH-L9i-17xx’s successful formula of fusing a height of only 37mm with strong performance and excellent quietness of operation, as well as 100% RAM and PCIe compatibility. At the same time, the chromax.black version with its black fan and black coated heatsink combines these assets with a sleek stealth look. The custom-designed SecuFirm2™ mounting system for the LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets makes installation a breeze, and thanks to the highly optimised NF-A9x14 92mm fan that supports fully automatic speed control via PWM, the NH-L9i-17xx chromax.black runs remarkably quietly. Topped off with Noctua’s renowned NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-L9i-17xx- chromax.black combines everything users have come to expect from Noctua’s larger coolers into a super-compact, premium-quality package for mini-ITX and HTPC builds with Intel LGA1700 or LGA1851 CPUs.
