    Chicken coop use/Shipping issue

Shipping issue was resolved and the fan and solar panels arrived as scheduled. Using to cool coop during hot days. Working well yet won't really know till mid July, when its really hot.

    MISSING PART

Called and talked to Tim the Mgr. He said he would E-Mail me and send missing connection from the 2 fan to the solar lead that I have. I figured this is that E-Mail. I need the lead that connects to the two fans and that solar lead Thanks Tim. Hope you have a good week .Thanks Burt

Great fans for a greenhouse - 5 stars

I bought these solar powered fan kits for a 10' x 20' greenhouse and installed them in west wall of the greenhouse. With sunlight on them, they just buzz away, pulling hot air out. I just ordered another set of fans for the other end.

Mine are installed on the inside of a polycarbonate panel and that worked great. I like the enviro-friendly packaging, but could use a little something between the panels as mine had a very minor scratch on each panel where they rubbed together during shipping.

    fan tastic

The solar powered double fan was an excellent choice for the shed, works great, should have and more then likely will order another, great item.

5 stars - Great kit overall!

Was great to buy a quality, affordable, pre-designed kit, rather than designing from scratch. Simply unavailable locally, so we ordered from the other coast! Was installed all summer, running flawlessly and silently, and keeping the shed really cool. I built an exhaust hood for the outside to add year-round weather protection. I put the mounting plate on the inside of the shed for ease of removal - if it were less exposed (without an exhaust hood), I would have put the plate outside. Installation photos available from the Coolerguys on request

The plastic mounting plate buckled and grill wires bent on tightening because of the gaps caused by the raised silicone cushions. It wasn't going to fit flush to the surface of the shed, and stressed plastic doesn't hold up well, so I added 16 small washers to fill the gaps, (lock washers actually, the only thing the right size, highly recommend they be added to the kit, negligible cost). Once I reassembled, the bolts tightened with a very satisfying proper snug fit, rather than the spongy tightening

I was glad packing material for shipping was enviro-friendly rather than plastic, but a little more stuffing would be advisable to hold contents in place. One adhesive-backed rubber piece fell out of a fan, perhaps indicative of the jostling during shipping, was stuck to the packing paper, and i almost threw it out.
